Oerlikon Neumag presents itself at the “India ITME” from 15 – 22 November in Shanghai with pathbreaking technologies as a competent partner for the production of BCF carpet yarns, synthetic staple fibers and nonwovens.
BCF Carpet Yarn Technology Oerlikon Neumag offers a product portfolio of BCF technologies in which the customer is certain to find the production plant designed to meet its own individual needs. It comprises the S5 modular plant system for manufacturing highly sophisticated BCF carpet yarn, the turnkey plants S3 (for monocolour) and Variomelt (for mono- and tricolour) and the Sytec One, a new concept with only one end per position.
Plants for the Production of Synthetic Staple Fibers One of the exhibition highlights is the 2-step plant concept for the production of synthetic staple fibers enabling significant productivity increases with production capacities up to 400 tons per day for PET cotton-type fibers. The production costs per kilogram as well as the investments per ton of plant capacity are considerably reduced with this concept. Moreover specialities such as bicofibers, acrylic or high-tenacity fibers can be optimally produced.
Nonwoven Tier One Technologies Oerlikon Neumag offers the most comprehensive portfolio with turnkey solutions in all major nonwoven formation technologies – airlaid, carding, spunlaid. This broad approach enables us to target markets like hygiene, medical, filters, automotive, and a variety of industrial end uses. One focus will be the carding technology with a series of improvements on FOR preparation and carding, Fehrer needle punching and Autefa in crosslapping.
In the production of spunlaid hygiene nonwovens Oerlikon Neumag sets new benchmarks with titers below 1.6 dtex, basis weights below 18 g/qm and a worldwide unique working width von 7 m.
Octir Woollen and Worsted Technology Oerlikon Neumag will also present the latest developments of Octir woollen carding sets as well as worsted and semi worsted carding machines. These machines are widely used in the production of woollen yarns for weaving, knitting, upholstery, blankets, and carpets and are synonymous with modernity, reliability and high production capacity.
