June 2010 Oerlikon Neumag's Highlights at the ITMA Asia 2010 in Shanghai

Oerlikon Neumag presents at the ITMA Asia from the 22nd – 26th June in Shanghai comprehensive solutions covering BCF and Staple Fiber as well as all main nonwovens production processes such as spunmelt, meltblown, carding and airlaid.

BCF carpet yarn plants for every demand
With over 65 percent market share Oerlikon Neumag is the supplier of advanced BCF carpet yarn machines. With the machine types S3, S5 and Sytec One Oerlikon Neumag offers its customers the broadest product portfolio in the market. One focus will be advanced processes and applications like Polyester or solution dyed automotive solutions.

Synthetic staple fibers production solutions
Besides jumbo staple fiber lines with production capacities up to 300 t/d for commodities Oerlikon Neumag offers a series of advanced solutions for special staple fiber applications like short cut fibers for concrete reinforcements, fibers for geotextiles, automotive and other technical textiles, bicomponenet fibers for e.g. artificial leather or hygiene nonwovens, as well as spiral crimp fibers for fiberfill.

Carding lines for needle punched or hydroentangled products
A further highlight will be the carding technology with a series of optimizations of the complete carding process from bale opening up to winding for a couple of technical applications like filtration, geotextiles, roofing, automotive headliners or acoustic materials. Oerlikon Neumag will also present the brand new Stylus needle loom generation, which enables conventional and elliptical needling on one machine.

Spunbond and Meltblown solutions
Oerlikon Neumag presents not only multi-beam spunmelt lines for the production of hygiene and medical nonwovens but also special solutions for technical textiles. Especially the meltblown stand-alone systems guarantee a wide variety of reliable, high-quality meltblown fabrics for advanced filtration and barrier media.
